Welcome! This website is dedicated to ancient Judaism religious practices. Through our high school theology class, we have learned the culture and beliefs of the ancient Jewish people. Judaism is monotheistic and believes in God the Almighty Father, the Creator of all things. Ancient Judaism is based around the Torah, the books of Deuteronomy, Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, and Leviticus. The founder of Judaism/patriarch is considered to be Abraham; he heard God's message of love, followed it, and laid the foundation of Ancient Judaism. The time period of our websites information is not current, instead from about 2000-587 B.C. |
Ancient Judaism was founded in and around the area of present-day Israel. Then it was known as Palestine.
